
Pupils at Cockburn Ingram Road Academy (CIRA) are celebrating their latest success of becoming published authors.
Pupils at Cockburn Ingram Road Academy recently entered a competition held by Young Writers. They were posed with the challenge or writing a story, diary or recount as a mini saga. The pupils were given the inspiring title of ‘The Adventures of…’
30 children from Cockburn Ingram Road had their work recognised and published in a book by Young Writers.
Mrs Webber, the UKS2 phase leader at Cockburn Ingram Road Academy, is thrilled by the pupils’ achievements and has noted just how proud the pupils are of their achievements.
“As Authors, they are hoping to inspire others to join the Young Writers’ story and drawing competitions. Congratulations to our wonderful storytelling Year 5/6 children!”
