A guided Spring walk in Middleton Park

The Friends of Middleton Park are hosting a free guided Spring walk in Middleton Park on Sunday (19 April 2026).

Spring is here early this year – and the signs are all around in the woods. The Bluebells are already in flower, the woodpeckers are drumming, birds are nest building and butterflies are out and about when the sun is shining – and the forecast for sunshine is good. Join our local guides for a pleasant afternoon stroll around some of Middleton Park’s 600 plus acres.

Join us at 1:30pm this Sunday (19 April) at the Visitor Centre in the park for a walk of approximately 1½ hours, there’s no need to book.

As usual, this walk includes woodland and unsurfaced paths so please wear walking shoes or boots, and don’t forget to wrap up warm and dry. Unfortunately this walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or mobilitiy scooters.

The Visitor Centre is accessed off Town Street, LS10 3SH.
