Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Leeds yesterday (9 August 2018).
A white Suzuki Swift was travelling along Pontefract Road in Stourton when it was in collision with a white Volkswagen Passat at around 6.35pm.
The driver of the Suzuki also clipped a lamppost on the road and overturned. The driver, a 40-year-old man, sustained a broken collar bone and dislocated shoulder. The other driver was uninjured.
Officers in the Roads Policing Unit are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch. Police would particularly be keen to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage who may have caught the vehicles driving in the area at the time of the collision.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Safer Roads team on 101, quoting log number 1451 of 09/08 or to submit information via the Force’s live chat facility here.
