Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Middleton Lane, Leeds

Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in which a 38 year old male pedestrian was fatally injured by the driver of a vehicle in Leeds.
It occurred at around 9:34pm last night (23 March 2018) on Middleton Lane, close to the junction with Whinthorpe Avenue and involved a black Vauxhall Vectra.
Any witnesses to the incident or passing drivers with dash-cam footage are asked to contact the police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 13180138562.
In particular, officers are keen to learn the manner of driving of the vehicle prior to the incident and the circumstances leading to it.
