Leeds Mind Peer Support programme, April to August 2018
We’re excited to announce that our new group work programme for April to August is now available! The full programme, plus our January to March programme, can be downloaded from www.leedsmind.org.uk/our-services/peer-support/.
About the Programme
There are dates available for courses and workshops in Horsforth, Middleton, Leeds City Centre and Burley, including Building Self-esteem, Building Resilience and Self Compassion. Our ongoing support groups, activities and social groups are still on offer across Leeds.
We have more dates for our Changing Gear project, providing peer support for people with experience of mental health difficulties and substance use.
Our Horizons project, in partnership with Better Leeds Communities and Age UK Leeds, continues to offer courses and workshops in Burley. Our THRU project, working with 16-25 year olds, now meets two evenings per week in Leeds city centre.
Our programme is subject to change. The full version of our programme can always be downloaded from our website, so please check back for updates!
How to Get Involved
We’d love to see you at our groups in the future: our groups can be accessed on a self-referral basis, and attendance at an Introduction to Group Work session is essential before attending our courses, workshops or support groups.
If you have any questions or if you’d like to book a place on any of our sessions, please contact the Peer Support service at peersupport@leedsmind.org.uk, or on (0113) 305 5803.
We hope you find this information useful, but if you would like to stop receiving emails from the Peer Support service, please let us know at peersupport@leedsmind.org.uk and we will remove your address from our list.
