The Friday Night Project which runs every Friday at Middleton Leisure Centre is holding an Open Night this Friday (14 November 2014) for young people in South Leeds.
There are two sessions each week, the first from 6-7:30pm is for children aged 8-13 years old. The second session from 7:30-9pm is for young people aged 12-18 years. This week the cost is a special introductory 50p with the proceeds going to Children In Need.
The second session will feature a trial of ‘Clubbercise’. Organiser Laura Hobman explains:
“This is a great way to get fit and have fun with your mates. Dancing in the dark (under UV lights) stops people from feeling self-conscious and is lots of fun!”
It’s going to be a great experience for the teens, I’m so looking forwards to running this session. For further information on local sessions contact julie at keepfitjulie@yahoo.co.uk or visit the above web site. J x
