If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a bit of a Ray Mears or Bear Grylls, now’s your chance. Groundwork is running a free two-day Bushcraft & Survival Skills course next Monday and Tuesday in the fantastic setting of Middleton Park.
Come along and learn simple survival skills like shelter building and fire lighting; have a go at whittling to make useful tools and simple toys; and learn how to set up and run a geocaching (electronic treasure hunt) session.
The course is specifically for adults and is free to anyone currently in receipt of benefits.
Full details are available on the Groundwork Leeds website, or you can download a copy of the flyer here: .
