South Leeds Slimming World members were invited to Iceland in Hunslet on Sunday 25 February 2020 to sample the new Slimming World meals launched earlier this month.
“The new lunch bowls were delicious, especially the mushroom risotto” says Margaret, a member of the Hunslet group who is a diamond target member, maintaining her weight by attending group regularly. Members also got to try foods that they had never experienced before like the “Jackfruit Chilli” which is a popular meat replacement suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Jenny at Iceland organised the event coordinating with local Beeston Hill / Belle Isle and Hunslet consultants, Tace and Vicky. Iceland provided the meals to taste and a prize draw for an enormous hamper which was “Slimming World” friendly and won by Mel, also from the Hunslet group.
