South Leeds Life is a collaborative blog. Eight of us, some linked to organisations, some not, got together last November to start writing about South Leeds. We get together every month or so to see how it’s going, share ideas, ask questions and generally see how we can improve things.
The Friends and Relatives of Hunslet Cemetery group are campaigning for better security at the vandalised cemetery. They’ve set up an online petition and their facebook group has more than 1,200 members. The Friends have set aside Saturday, 17th September, 10am – noon, to do litter picking, pruning and bulb planting
CIARA held its meeting at the Ingram Gardens Community Centre on Tuesday 13 September. The evening involved its normal bimonthly public meeting followed by the Annual General Meeting.
