16-year-old boy critically injured in Beeston crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Leeds in which a 16-year-old boy was critically injured.

At 6.26pm on Friday (28 April 2023) officers were called to the incident outside The Broadway pub, in Dewsbury Road, Beeston.

The collision involved a black Nissan Xtrail and a silver Skoda Fabia.

A 16-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the Skoda, received serious injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.

The two drivers and two other passengers received slight injuries.

The driver of the Nissan, a 22-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He remains in custody.
