Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision this morning in south Leeds.
The incident happened at 8.02am on Meadow Lane at its junction with Victoria Road.
A DAF Box van was travelling south along Meadow Lane going towards Dewsbury Road when it was in collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 21 year old local man, was crossing from the road from the nearside kerb. He was left with life-threatening injuries.
