The White Rose Shopping Centre has launched its search for two recruits to join the team on a twelve-month paid apprenticeship, resulting in an NVQ Level 2 in Facilities Services.
A fantastic prospect for South Leeds locals looking to kick-start or change careers, the successful applicants will be hard-working, passionate about customer service, and ready to learn.
Liam Lightowler previously completed the apprenticeship and now works as part of the White Rose security team:
“I cannot recommend this opportunity enough. I learned so much as part of my apprenticeship at White Rose, and I’m now training as a team leader – something that I wouldn’t have thought possible during my years visiting the centre in my teens.
“This is an amazing opportunity for people from the local community, and I’m really grateful to have been given the chance to begin my career in the industry as part of such a great team here at White Rose.”
Steven Foster, General Manager of White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “This is a great opening for a motivated individual to embed into our busy and successful team. We’re very proud of each and every one of our friendly and dedicated staff here at White Rose, and it’s exciting to watch new recruits learn and develop their skills.
“We’re delighted to be creating jobs in the local community, and this is a great opportunity for two applicants to begin their careers in a varied and exciting industry. In previous years many trainees have gone on to undertake full-time roles with us here in the Centre in addition to their NVQ Level 2 qualification, so the sky is the limit for our apprentices.”
As part of the apprenticeship, the successful recruits will learn about all areas of the business including customer service, cleaning, and security.
Applicants must be aged between 18-24 years old. For more information and to apply about the opportunity, please send a CV to email@example.com
