White Rose Shopping Centre has announced its Christmas launch spectacular, the Festive Festival, with a special visit from the man in red.
White Rose’s Festive Festival takes place on Saturday 10 November 2018, with a host of free family events taking place from 11am – 5pm. Highlights include:
- The opening of Santa’s Grotto, where Santa will be welcoming visitors until 24 December
- A visit from real-life reindeer, greeting the people of Leeds before heading back to the North Pole (12-4pm)
- A very special Yorkshire Christmas Market offering Yorkshire pudding wraps, a sausage chalet, Yorkshire cheeses and beers, plus a selection of gifts and festive decorations to take away
- Incredible Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto Disney decorations in The Village
- Winter fairground games including Pick Up A Pudding, Reindeer Hoopla, Christmas Dinner Fruit Machine, Carol-oke, and plenty more competitions and freebies

The festival also sees the start of White Rose’s Christmas opening hours, with more than 100 stores opening early and closing late each weekday (9am – 10pm).
Festive Festival events are free and take part throughout White Rose from 11am – 5pm on Saturday 10 November.
