What’s On Roundup 6-12 May 2023

Here’s a roundup of some the main events taking place over the coming week in South Leeds. For full listings go over to our What’s On calendar here.

We start this week at St Andrew’s Community Centre, Cardinal Road, Beeston, LS11 8AQ, where the Coronation celebrations kick off at 10am and run through to 3pm.

Trinity Network are offering good food and good company at their Coronation café on Saturday, 10:15am-12pm, Nesfield Road, Belle Isle, LS10 3LG.

There are regular coffee mornings at Beeston Parish Centre on Town Street and the Church of the Nazarene on Lupton Street in Hunslet, both run 10am-12pm this Saturday.

The Bangla Square youth group holds its monthly session at Beeston Village Community Centre, off Town Street, on Saturday afternoon, 1:15-6pm.

Hunslet ARLFC take on Siddal on Saturday at The Oval, opposite Morrisons, on Saturday, kick off 2:30pm.

The Hunslet Club Rogues present a Musical Showcase on Saturday at 5:30pm and Sunday at 4pm at the club on Hillidge Road, LS10 1BP.

On Sunday, 12-5pm, the Friends of Hunslet Moor have their Coronation barbecue at their building behind Crescent Towers

Middleton Railway will not be open on Saturday, but will be open on Sunday and Monday, 10am-4pm.

And finally, if you want to brush up your public speaking skills why not pop along to White Rose Speakers monthly meeting at Jury’s Inn hotel at Brewery Wharf?
