What’s On Roundup 12-18 February 2022

Here’s a roundup of some the main events taking place over the coming week in South Leeds. For full listings go over to our What’s On calendar here.

This weekend sees the Tetley Makers Market at The Tetley, Hunslet’s own art gallery. The market itself runs from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Around it you’ll find yoga, tattoos, food & drink and music, which runs on into the Saturday night.

As previously mentioned Slung Low present ‘Too Pretty To Punch’ on Saturday night at The Holbeck. “A hilarious and uplifting journey through what it means to be trans in 21st century Britain.” 7:30pm, pay-what-you-decide/can-afford book at slunglow.org/shows

Holbeck Together are holding a sale at their charity shop on Sunday, 9:30am-1pm. They will have winter stock at half-price, as well as some bargains to be had from their Spring and Summer stock too.

Then it’s back across to The Holbeck for the monthly Leeds Dads meet up, 2-4pm. It’s open to any dads and their pre-school children.

It’s the Challenge Cup Fourth Round weekend and you can see Hunslet RLFC take on Siddal for just £5 on Sunday. Kick off is at 1pm at the South Leeds Stadium as it’s also being screened by BBC on the iPlayer, BBC Sport website and the BBC’s app.

And finally, on Tuesday there’s a chance to meet your local PCSOs at Hunslet Community Hub & Library, 10am-12pm. You can raise any safety concerns you have with them over a cuppa, organised by Hunslet Tenants & Residents Association.
