Each month we have a range of activities, events and courses available for FREE at BITMOs GATE, which is the new resource centre next to Belle Isle TMO’s housing office on Belle Isle Road.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS HAPPENING IN February. .
ANCESTRY GROUP With JULIE
Discover your family history and uncover relatives every Monday 10am – 12pm and 1 – 3pm.
Julie has been researching her Family tree now for some time, and will help you grow your own.
Come along and let Julie take you back in time. Have a cuppa, and watch your tree develop on the big screen.
COMPUTER COURSES
Our computers are available to use for free between 9am to 5pm Mondays to Fridays.
BEGINNERS COMPUTER CLASSES
Mondays 9.30 – 11am.
Over 50s Computer Lessons. 1.30 – 3pm.
LEEDS LETS GET ACTIVE
Free fitness class. Mondays 4.15 – 5pm.
New for Monday: it’s Snakes and Ladders themed to help launch our new Monday night.
Games Group; playing just for fun, the group will meet on Mondays between 3pm and 6pm to compete at cards, dominoes and various board games!

TASTY TUESDAYS
In partnership with South Leeds Food-bank and the Ciaran Bingham Foundation Trust. BITMOs GATE will be offering a hot meal to service users – soup and a bread roll – each Tuesday between 11am to 1pm.

Talk to Chris, our Financial Inclusion Officer, about your money worries, debt and benefit queries. Tuesdays 9am – 1pm.
CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU.
If you need help and advice to resolve a problem, you can visit the Citizens Advice Bureau at BITMOs GATE on Wednesday mornings. Appointments are required, please call (0113) 378 2190.
GUITAR IN THE COMMUNITY.
Learn how to read music and play chords for free in a friendly group setting every Wednesday 7 – 9pm.
BT GET IT TOGETHER COMPUTER CLASS.

New this month Valentines Afternoon Tea- Wednesday 11th February from 2pm- 4:30pm for over 60. The GATE will be hosting this event aimed particularly at our residents in sheltered and supported housing.
New this month Love Food Hate Waste- Thursday 12th February from 9:30am An interactive and fun session aimed at reducing food waste and saving money!
New this month. Got the Itch to Switch?! Green Doctor at the GATE- Wednesday 18th February from 10am
The Green Doctor will be holding an online computer class exploring the world of utility companies and energy providers. If you’d like to switch but don’t know how or where to start, the Green Doctor will see you now!
