Here are some useful numbers and events guide for the Cottingley Hall estate which residents may find useful:
Cottingley Towers hosts a health table, which offers health advice and information each month. Run by Health For All, there will be free NHS health checks on Wednesday, February 15 and sports and exercise on Wednesday, March 14 (1pm-3pm).
Cottingley Children’s Centre runs the ‘New Lives’ group every Thursday morning, 10-11.30am for parents expecting or who have a child up to 12 months old. Baby massage runs Tuesdays, 1-3pm. Book with Lisa 2771472.
Cottingley Primary School runs Open University drop in sessions. Contact M Sissons on 336 8750 for details. The school will run it holiday club in the school holidays on February 14, 15 and 16 (10am-2pm) cost £3 per child for children aged five to 11.
Cottingley Community Centre offers ‘homework hangout’ for year 7 students on Wednesdays and Thursdays and year eight students Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 3-5pm. Mondays has zuzumba fitness 6.60-7.30, Tuesdays keep fit for over 60s at 11.30am and 7-9pm there’s a youth bus in the car park for young people aged 13-19, cost 30p. Wednesdays has bingo 1.30-3 and a youth club for 12-18 year olds from 7pm. Thursdays has a dance group for 10-16-year-olds at 5pm and Friday has St Luke’s Cares for under 13s at 4pm and bingo at 7.30pm.
The Church In Cottingley gathers Sunday at 11am and on Tuesday at 10.15am.
