Touchstone: three stars for employee engagement

Touchstone achieves Best Companies – Three star accreditation for the second year running

Beeston-based mental health charity Touchstone celebrates achieving a coveted three star accreditation in the annual Best Companies – Sunday Times to Work for employee engagement, which is for extraordinary levels of employee engagement and is the highest star rating you can achieve.

Touchstone has been a top 10 Best Company since 2017 and has been in the top 100 since 2013. Kathryn Hart, HR Director at Touchstone commented:

“We are all so excited to be a three star Best company for another year and this is only possible due to having such brilliant staff throughout the organisation, who actively lead on continuously improving employee engagement for everyone and thereby enabling us to deliver the best services.”

Touchstone provides mental health and wellbeing services to over 6,000 people annually throughout West and South Yorkshire – mainly to Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities and often in partnership with other organisations. Touchstone has doubled its turnover in the last year to over £8m and now employs over 200 staff.

Touchstone regularly wins national accolades for its best practice in diversity and inclusion. In addition to the Sunday Times Best Companies survey, the charity is ranked 20th in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers list. Touchstone is also Investors in People Platinum accredited.
