The Middleton Hub Klub pay a visit to Gascoigne House

The Middleton Hub Klub is one of the many activities run by Kidz Klub across inner Leeds. Every half term our children who attend our Hub Klubs dream up, and help to organise an activation in their community.

The aim of the activation is to spread joy, create happiness and change where they live. We love to tell the children that they have the power to make change; that they are ‘Community Changers and Nation Shakers’.

This half term we planned a fun and joyous Nativity performance. We were so delighted that we were able to do one of our performances for residents at Gascoigne House (extra care housing in Middleton).

The children enjoyed doing their performance and took great delight in speaking to the residents after.  Seeing the group, of different generations, enjoying this festive time together was very heart warming and a great reminder of the love and hope that Christmas brings.

The children did an amazing job and the residents really loved it and it was amazing to see the joy it brought the residents.
