The annual gala organised by Hunslet Festival takes place on Saturday, writes one of the organisers, Steve Thompson. Hunslet Festival was formed in its present format in January 2003. Local resident Steve Thompson has sent South Leeds Life the following information: There’s a super coffee morning, 10am to noon, on Saturday April 28 at Beeston Parish Centre. Tables available to hire at £5. The event includes a demonstration by the Hunslet Hawks Junior Cheerleaders. Funds in aid of St Mary’s Church.
