Survivor-led Sisterhood’s successful launch in Middleton

Survivor‑Led Sisterhood Leeds Celebrates a Powerful First Meeting

A new chapter has begun for women in Leeds as the Survivor‑led Sisterhood held its first official meeting of the year — and the turnout exceeded every expectation. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with the kind of connection that many attendees said they’d been searching for.

The group has now secured a new venue at St George’s Centre in Middleton, along with a full schedule of dates for the rest of the year, making it easier than ever for women to join, reconnect, and build a supportive community together.

One attendee summed up the spirit of the day with a heartfelt reflection:

“I’ve not got many ‘real’ friends but on 20th January I met the greatest set of ladies ever and I consider them as ‘real’ friends x”

The Sisterhood continues to grow in strength, solidarity, and shared purpose — and new faces are always welcome.
