Today’s regular Stay & Play Storytime (9 May 2017) at Beeston Library took on an extra dimension as children planted sunflowers.
The session included planting sunflowers to take home as well as filling the Beeston in Bloom planter outside. There were also sunflower related crafts and songs, plus lots of duplo and the dressing up box.
Stephanie Davis Community Hub Team Leader, who organised the event with librarians Rachel Benn and Rachel Tallant, said:
“It’s been a really fun morning. It’s great to see so many children involved and enjoying themselves.”
Storytime takes place every Tuesday from 10:45-11:45am at Beeston Library on Town Street.
