Residents of South Leeds enjoyed an fun filled day at The Hunslet Club Summer Gala; with performing arts demonstrations, football, delicious BBQ food and lots of inflatables for the kids to enjoy.
The rain held off despite the forecast and the sun was beaming down on a packed out Hunslet Club whilst the performing arts teams stole the show, showing off their aerial skills on the air track, group dancing techniques on the floor mats and their tap dancing skills on the purpose built stage. Families from all around came to enjoy the spectacle and cheer on their fellow dancers.
Volunteers helped oversee the use of the inflatable rides which included a giant slide, crazy golf and even a laser tag arena! The rides were busy until the moment they closed, and lots of fun was had by hundreds of children of all ages.
A massive thank you goes out from all of The Club for the dedication and hard work that everyone put into this event, we couldn’t have done it without your support. All that’s left to say is “Roll on next year’s Gala!”
