Come and grab a bargain at the St Luke’s Cares urban bar charity shop every Saturday, 1-4pm.
The shop is based in the portable cabin next to St Luke’s Church, on Malvern Road.
All money raised is going to fund the local youth club, youth bus and also to raise funds for the team going over to Sierra Leonne thois Christmas to do building work and work with street kids. Donations of goods to sell are greatly appreciated.
St Luke’s Community and Regeneration Enterprise is a community charity based in Beeston which works predominantly with young people across South Leeds.
There are a range of activities provided through dance groups and majorettes, sports development, the urban bar, youth bus and Phocus. HITBase is an IT adult education centre which runs out of a small computer suite in St Luke’s Church.
