South Leeds Life needs YOU!

Would you like to have a say in how South Leeds Life blog is run? Would you be interested in contributing posts about life in South Leeds?

Then a meeting next Tuesday, November 1, is right up your street! We’re holding one of our regular review meetings to discuss the blog in the past month or so and decide its future direction. The blog  is written by a group of people who live and work in South Leeds and we’re keen for more contributors to swell our ranks. We’re interested in hearing your opinions and suggestions – this is a community-owned blog written by local people for local people.

We aim to promote events and stories going on in South Leeds – Holbeck, Beeston, Cottingley, Hunslet, Belle Isle & Middleton. We would like you to feedback, add your comments and contribute articles. ALternatively, if there’s something you think we should be covering, let us know!

We’ve had around 2,500 people come to the blog during October alone – our busiest month since launching late last November – and we’d like to build on that but we can’t without YOU!

We’d love to see you at the new Tenants Hall Entrerprise Centre in meeting room three on Tuesday, November 1, at 10am. The centre is based in Acre Close, Middleton, LS10 4HX and is off Middleton Park Avenue. The number two bus from Dewsbury Road passes it. You’ll be made more than welcome. If you can’t make it but would like to contribute and be part of the blog, email us at southleedslife@gmail.com.
