Selina Kellet from Middleton has just celebrated her 106th birthday! Wow! But in years to come Selina won’t be such a rarity as she is today but will account for of 10 million of us alive today in the UK who will live to be over 100, that’s nearly one in five of today’s population!
Selina puts her longevity down to applying Nivea face cream every day and eating fish and chips! Sounds like a good plan to me (she doesn’t smoke or drink).
As my namesake I hope I have as long a life as she has. Here’s to the next 69 years…now, where’s the fish and chips.
