Old rugby league programmes – including one featuring Hunslet in 1938 – are going under the hammer at a special auction being held at the South Leeds Stadium.
On Saturday October 12, the Rugby League Collectors Federation are holding the fair at the Phoenix Bar in the stadium. On show to look at or buy from 10.30am onwards will be a large collection of programmes, magazines, books, novels, photographs, DVDs, badges and other items of interest.
At 12.30pm the auction of some 180 items will start – with Lot 64 being the programme for the Hunslet v Leeds Championship Final played at Elland Road on April 30th 1938.
