The agenda for the next meeting of the Inner South Community Committee, made up of the nine Councillors for our three wards: Beeston & Holbeck, Hunslet & Riverside and Middleton Park, has been published. The meeting, which is open to the public, is taking place, at the Hamara Healthy Living Centre, Tempest Road, Beeston, LS11 6RD on Wednesday 1 March 2023 starting at 2pm.
The meeting starts with an Open Forum, this is an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions or raise issues directly with their Councillors. At the last meeting in November Cottingley residents asked why their bin service was so poor. Senior officers will be attending this meeting to discuss the issue.
The committee is also responsible some Council functions in the area such as street cleaning and youth services; and it manages a well-being budget that funds large and small projects. Projects under consideration at this meeting include:

- New Activity Equipment (LCC South Leeds Hub)
- Tech Made Easy (South of the River)
- Kidz Klub Residential (Kidz Klub Leeds)
- Breeze In The Park (LCC Breeze)
- Tulip Street Signage and Seats (LCC)
- Cranmore & Raylands Community Centre (Health For All)
- Cottingley Community Centre (Health For All)
- DAZL Inner South: Culture in my community (DAZL)
- Learn, Share, Love Food Project (LCC Inner South Youth Service)
- Hamara Gym Capital Project (Hamara Healthy Living Centre)
