Review: Oliver Twist at Leeds Playhouse

We were very lucky to receive tickets from South Leeds Life to attend the performance of Oliver Twist at the Leeds Playhouse theatre. It was adapted by playwright Bryony Lavery and included sign language, audio description and captioning.  It was a co-production with Ramps On The Moon who are committed to putting D/deaf and disabled artists at the centre of their work.

I really enjoyed the performance and it gave a fresh perspective to the well known story that most of us know and love. There were lots of laughs and great performances by the actors. The performance was very enjoyable and entertaining. It was great to see such an inclusive performance and to see so many talented actors on stage.

Oliver Twist runs at Leeds Playhouse until Saturday 21 March 2020. Age guidance: 11+ years. Tickets: £14-£32 from (0113) 213 7700 or leedsplayhouse.org.uk/events/oliver-twist
