Police appeal after man found dead at Beeston property

A scene has been in place outside a house on Marsden Grove in Beeston since Wednesday (19 March 2025).

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said:

“Police were called at 8:29am on Wednesday, 19 March, to a report of a concern for safety for a man at a property on Marsden Grove in the Beeston area of Leeds. It was confirmed by paramedics a short time later that the man had died. A small fire was found within the property. At this time the man’s death is being treated as unexplained pending further enquiries.

“If anyone has any information that could assist police in their enquiries, they are asked to contact Leeds District CID via Live Chat online or by calling 101, quoting log 273 of 19 March.”
