Platinum standards for Cockburn Ingram Road Academy

Cockburn Ingram Road Academy (CIRA) are proud to have received recognition for their dedication to sport and physical activity.

CIRA recently received the School Games Mark Platinum award. The School Games Mark celebrates a school’s commitment to competitive sport within their school

This is something that the headteacher, Jade Millington, acknowledges as a strength of the school.

“I am extremely proud that the school was recognised with the platinum school games mark award. Competitive sport and physical education help to instill resilience and respect, which are two of the values of Cockburn Ingram Road. Our children certainly take pride in representing the school at an array of different sporting competitions and events” she said.
