PFI housing Open Day for Holbeck and Beeston Hill

sc4L Open Day Holbeck Postersc4L (Sustainable Communities for Leeds) are holding an Open Day next Monday to inform tenants and residents about their plans.

The drop in information day is being held at St Matthew’s Community Centre in Holbeck on Monday 5th August 2013 from 11am to 7pm. This is an opportunity to meet the sc4L project team and find out more about the refurbishment work and building of new homes planned in Holbeck and Beeston Hill.

Tenants, leaseholders and home owners who are affected by the scheme are urged to come along to find out more about when the work is scheduled and to pick colour schemes if your home is being refurbished.

The organisers are keen to work with the local community and are looking for volunteers to get involved in the project.

The recent newsletter to residents identified the following sites to start work before Christmas:

  • Holbeck Moor Road
  • Coupland Place
  • Coupland Road
  • Malvern Road
  • St Luke’s Green
  • Fairfax Road

Overall, the PFI-funded project will see 275 new council homes built and 383 homes refurbished over three years. These home will also be maintained over the next 20 years by sc4L.
