Paving firm reaffirms its support for foodbank

Yorkshire-based leading distributors of stone and porcelain paving, RF Paving, have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting local communities through a continued partnership with Leeds South & East Foodbank, a charity dedicated to helping individuals and families in crisis across South and East Leeds.

Leeds South & East Foodbank is part of the nationwide network of foodbanks working to combat food poverty and hunger across the UK. The organisation provides nutritionally balanced emergency food and additional support services to local individuals and families referred during times of crisis. Across 2024 and 2025, the foodbank supported more than 14,000 people, 35% of whom were children.

Through regular financial contributions, RF Paving is helping fund emergency food supplies and compassionate support services so they continue to reach those most in need.

“We are deeply committed to giving back to the community,” said Amy Andrews, Managing Director of RF Paving.

“No one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from, and we’re proud to support Leeds South & East Foodbank’s incredible work. We hope our contributions bring some relief and dignity to families facing hardship.

“Hard times can affect anyone at any time, and we encourage other local businesses to give back and support people in need in their own communities with whatever help they can.”

Wendy Doyle, Operations Manager at Leeds South & East Foodbank, added:

“We’d like to thank RF Paving for their continued support of our foodbank. Their generosity helps us provide essential food and supplies to local people who are going through a difficult time.

“Ongoing support from businesses like RF Paving makes a steady and reliable difference to our work, and we’re grateful to have them alongside us in supporting the community.”

With demand for emergency food support continuing to rise across the UK, donations are crucial to enabling food banks to purchase essential items, cover operational costs, and respond quickly to community needs. Leeds South & East Foodbank doesn’t just distribute food; volunteers offer a welcoming environment, a listening ear, and support to help people through difficult times.

RF Paving’s support reflects its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing, social responsibility, and partnership with local charitable organisations. The business hopes its involvement will inspire others across the sector to consider impactful ways to support food banks and tackle food poverty.
