The Post Office on Old Lane in Beeston is to be revamped this summer, but will close for 11 days whilst the work is carried out.
The branch is one of 8,000 across the country to be converted into what the Post Office call a ‘Main style branch’. The interior will be remodelled, services offered will be extended to include the issuing of Car Tax and the opening hours will be extended.
The branch will be closed from 1pm on Wednesday 19 August and will reopen on Tuesday 1 September at 1pm.
Whilst the branch is closed, customers can use other local branches such as Beeston Hill (2 Lodge Lane), Victoria Terrace (163-165 Dewsbury Road), or Holbeck (95-97 Domestic Street). More information is available on the Post Office website: www.postoffice.co.uk/branch-finder.
