You may have seen in the press that the Children’s Heart Unit at Leeds General Infirmary is due to be closed. A petition of 500,000 signatures has been gathered and presented to 10 Downing Street. Here’s the story as reported in the Yorkshire Evening Post. (photo from YEP)
The consultation period is still open and you have your chance to to have a say at an event being held at Hamara, Tempest Road, Beeston. This is your chance to talk to the NHS professionals who are running the national consultation.
