The Hunslet Club looks forward to welcoming back its 1000+ membership at the start of the new school term. While people have been on holiday the club has been busy extending the garages & bar, building an extra activity room and games room, redecorated the dance studios, put picnic tables & benches outside (thanks to some hard work by O2 volunteers for that!) and there are some new outdoor changing rooms on their way soon too.
New to the weekly timetable will be Singing on Wednesdays between 4:45 – 5:30pm. This will be taught by a very talented singer and teacher with plenty of performance experience. Whatever style of singing anyone wants to learn he will be able to help nurture their talent.
Due to popular demand the club will also now be doing regular weekend days away angling with a new fishing group. There is all the equipment and expertise on hand to get someone started. Anyone interested can contact the club for details as to when the next trips will take place.
All of the other regular weekly activities for young people continue including football, breakdance, boxing, hip hop, gymnastics, musical theatre, Irish dance, cheerleading, cooking, youth club, ballet, junior gym and performing arts for children and young people, a fitness suite, box fit, dance fit and legs bums & tums sessions for adults and ballet, gymnastics and football for toddlers.
Anyone is welcome to join this, one of the top five largest youth clubs in the country right here in South Leeds. Come down and see it for yourself!
