New Belle Isle group gives residents a voice

Belle Isle resident Jean Savery has written this guest post about a new group giving residents in a part of Belle Isle an outlet to get things done in their community. Jean, who is retired, wrote the post at a publicity training session as part of the Belle Isle Bright Ideas project in Belle Isle Family Centre yesterday evening…

Rosedales Tenants/Residents Group is a new community organisation set up to give local residents a voice on local issues.

As a group we would like parents with young children in the area to come along to our meetings and tell us what they would like to see in their community.

We are planning future activities and would like to include the children.

Please come along to our next meeting on March 19 in the Engine, at the bottom of Old Run Road. It starts at 7pm.
