Middleton singing group celebrates Halloween

If you passed by Tenants Hall on Monday night 31 October 2016 you would have been forgiven if you thought nothing was going on, all was quiet until the Middle Tone community choir group arrived in full costume fitting the time of the year.

There were eerie sounds to be heard as they sang to Monster Mash and Thriller. Food was provided where finger sandwiches took on a whole new meaning. Ghoulish shapes could be seen on the Pizza’s and bloodshot hardboiled egg eyes as well as and eyes made from basil tomato and olives kept watch on the events. Tangerine pumpkins, fairy cakes infested with spiders and their webs and a Halloween cake was served up for desert. All was washed down with drinks including Zombie Virus, Spider Cider, Bone Juice and Witches Brew.

The Middle Tone singing group is open to anyone who enjoys singing. You don’t need to be able to read music and there are no auditions. Just turn up and join in the fun. The sessions are free.

The group meets every Monday evening from 6:30-8:30pm at Tenants Hall Enterprise Centre, Acre Close, LS10 4HX.
