Lychee Red welcome the Year of the Horse

Lychee Red, held a wonderful celebration for the Year of the Horse on 16 February to mark the Lunar New Year.

From dumpling making and Chinese calligraphy to singing, dancing, and lantern crafting, it was heart-warming to see all generations come together to share joy, culture, and community.

“May the Year of the Horse bring happiness, good health, prosperity, and warmth to you and your loved ones.”

The Lychee Red Group runs a safe and welcoming community space for Chinese seniors to meet weekly at Beeston Village Community Centre. The group, which is volunteer led and supported by Health For All , runs activities and the chance to socialise, stay active, and enjoy meaningful interactions to improve people’s well-being.
