Let’s Get Active – the free access to council sports facilities scheme – has a new timetable out for 2015.
If you’re still working out to fulfil that New Year’s resolution to be more active, help is at hand. The Leeds Let’s Get Active scheme is designed to help people get started with fitness activities. A range of activities are available from walking to swimming to gym sessions and dance. They are based in council sports centres and community venues.
All Let’s Get Active activities are free, but you need to register by going to their website: www.leedsletsgetactive.co.uk/Register.aspx.
A new class this month is called ‘Cheer Fit’. Led by DAZL, it uses fun cheerleading routines to provide a great workout. The classes run at Tenants Hall Enterprise Centre in Middleton and South Leeds Youth Hub in Belle Isle.
There have been some changes to the programmes at John Charles Centre for Sport and Middleton Leisure Centre. Please check the new timetables below:
