We are trying to raise funds for Macmillan (In Alan’s Name) we have named this event ride with a smile after the loss of Mr Alan Woods, one of Hunslet’s true gents. This horrible disease does affect many families so please people dig deep many thanks in anticipation.

We aim to complete the 130 miles in two days (Saturday 28 June – Sunday 29 June). Any support would be greatly appreciated!!

Note : from Kenneth Ingram. Alan Wood was a School friend of mine, at Hunslet Carr School, back in the 1960s.

Was also a founder member of Hunslet Carr School reunion group, held at Hunslet Carr Sports and Social Club, first Tuesday in every month. RIP, Alan.

Note: from Ann Woods (Alan’s Widower). Thank you everyone who’s taking part, it means a lot to all of us for Alan to be remembered in such a lovely way . Macmillan deserve every penny raised, they are amazing. Thanks again. Ann & family.
