Leeds Directory can help you find vetted service providers

Leeds Directory is Leeds City Council’s online source of information about a range of local trades, community care, support services, activities and events that support people to live the life they want to live.

You do not have to be online to use the service as you can contact us over the phone on (0113) 378 4610 weekdays 9am-5pm and our friendly operators will talk you through the options available to you, depending on your enquiry. We will supply the information in the way that works best for you.

There are over 1,500 organisations and services that may assist and support you (or someone you know) in a variety of ways, towards living well and more independently. These include for example, home and garden maintenance; equipment to help with daily living tasks such as cooking or getting washed and dressed; home care; and home security.

Organisations that provide one-to-one support or services around the home and garden are checked and vetted. These providers are marked with our ‘green tick’.

In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, everybody needs to know about Leeds Directory – as an important link into essential and necessary services, such as trades that can help with repairs in the home to keep you safe and well.

Information is regularly updated to include notifications from organisations about how they are operating in line with current government and public health guidance. While activities and events that take place outside the home are cancelled until further notice, many organisations are offering online activities, telephone-based services and other social connections.

Please – take a look at our easy-to-use website www.LeedsDirectory.org – try it out and spread the word.
