Slung Low’s artistic director Alan Lane said:
“Our regular How To…Festivals are extremely popular, and tying in last year’s Halloween-themed How To Festival with the nation’s Fun Palace initiatives proved so popular that it’s brilliant to be able to repeat the theme. We are delighted to welcome back a wealth of national talent to Holbeck as well as hosting new artists for the first time.”
There is a very limited capacity for all festival workshops and performances which must be booked in advance so to reserve places please email boxoffice@slunglow.org with the number of places you wish to book for each event and a contact telephone number.
Also on Sunday is a chance to follow the It Happened Here route out and about Holbeck and find out what all those strange signs on lamposts mean. It’s free, just pop into the HUB and pick up your map and MP3 player. The walk takes about an hour.
