Lane End’s new language teacher is Leeds United star

This week the Year 5 children at Lane End Primary School had their first Modern Foreign Language lesson with their new teacher—Rodrigo from Leeds United FC!

Leeds Utd TV turned up also, to film the special event. Rodrigo, who also plays for the Spanish national team, helped the children to learn lots of sporting vocabulary and also to say our school motto in Spanish.

The children also had opportunity to quiz Rodrigo about his sporting achievements and ambitions, and to find out more about playing for our very own Leeds United.

Thank you Leeds United and Rodrigo for both teaching and inspiring us—and thank you for being our MFL teacher, even it was only for one very special lesson.
