Excitement is mounting at the Hunslet Club in anticipation of hosting the world premiere of a professional production of “3 Little Pigs” by Northern Ballet on Sunday October 20th. Children & young people aged 3 to 16 enjoyed special guest workshops provided by the ballet company.
Said Philippa Ranger, Arts Development Worker at the Hunslet Club:
“We were very pleased to welcome the internationally acclaimed Northern Ballet for the guest session with our young ballet dancers, they were very excited by the experience from beginning to end and are really looking forward to seeing the show now .”
As previously reported on South Leeds Life, Three Little Pigs is an audience outreach project funded by Leeds City Council. This is the second in Northern Ballet’s series of Short Ballets for Small People which aim is to produce ballet specifically for young children and to engage families in theatre, art and music in a fun, lively and approachable way.
