Inner South West Community Committee agenda published

The agenda for the next meeting of the Inner South West Community Committee, made up of Councillors for Beeston & Holbeck and Hunslet & Riverside wards, plus Armley and Kirkstall wards, has been published.

The meeting, which is open to the public, is taking place at Leeds Civic Hall, LS1 1UR on Wednesday 11 March 2026 starting at 5:30pm. The meeting will also be livestreamed and then available to watch on YouTube.

The meeting starts with an Open Forum, this is an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions or raise issues directly with their Councillors. You do not have to submit them in advance, you can just turn up and speak.

The committee is also responsible some Council functions in the area such as street cleaning and youth services; and it manages a well-being budget that funds large and small projects, Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Neighbourhood Fund and the Youth Activity Fund.

Grants being considered by the committee include:

  • Beeston Festival – (Beeston festival committee)
    A grant of £6,000 towards the running costs of the festival (c£36,000) to pay for generators, Breeze inflatables, climbing wall and PA systems.
