The Hunslet Club is sad to announce the passing of Ken Holdsworth, former caretaker & volunteer for over 50 years at the club, aged 89.
Ken was known and loved by everyone at the Hunslet Club for his quiet, modest, cheerful and hard working dedication to helping children and young people which spanned generations. He was a true South Leeds community hero. We are incredibly thankful for all that he did here. He will be greatly missed.
The funeral will take place at Cottingley Hall Crematorium (LS11 0EU) 9:45am Friday 21st December followed by a wake at the Hunslet Club from 11:00am onwards. Anyone who knew Ken is welcome to attend.
