Lisa Riley, who works at Marshalls Mill in Holbeck, has been named runner up in the Receptionist of the Year awards.
The awards were launched this year by Lucy Walker Recruitment following on from National Receptionist Day in May and aim to recognise the integral role that often overlooked receptionists play in the life of an office.
Lisa was nominated by Paul Taylor of Creative Space Management who advised
“Lisa acts as receptionist for all the businesses based in the building, which is quite a responsibility. She is incredibly diligent, often staying late to assist occupiers, always arrives early in the morning and is never ill. She is very creative and co-ordinates a number of profile raising activities for the building and great social events to get all the business involved with one another. She has also arranged several charitable events for Women’s Aid, with recent Easter egg and Christmas present collections leading to her being featured in the local press.”
Marshalls Mill is home to a range of creative and tech companies. The Grade II* listed building was built as a flax mill by John Marshall in 1815 and refurbished to create modern office space in the 1990s.
