Holbeck Moor JFC launch a Swap Shop

This week at Holbeck Moor JFC we launched our Swap Shop. This is available for all families associated with Holbeck Moor JFC.

We want to be able to support our families and we realise with the increase in the cost of living, with food and energy prices on the rise that there may be times when we need a little help. And we all know what it’s like when our children’s feet grow.

So thanks to the great work of one of our parents we have now created the Holbeck Moor JFC Swap Shop. This is where families can exchange an old pair of boots for another pair of boots that will fit. As well as this we also have clothing, sports clothing, coats that can be exchanged.

“As a club we work hard to keep the community connected and for them to know that we’re available when help is needed. It’s not always about football, it’s about family, who we are and how we live and at Holbeck Moor JFC we’re family and we’re here to help”

We are looking for donations to help us grow the swap shop to support the families. The items we’re looking for are:

  • Boots
  • Trainers
  • Shin pads
  • Sports clothing
  • Coats

If you can help and donate any of these items then please get in touch.

While you’re here, can we ask a favour?

South Leeds Life is published by a not-for-profit social enterprise. We keep our costs as low as possible but we’ve been hit by increases in the print costs for our monthly newspaper – up 83% in the last 12 months.

Could you help support local community news by making a one off donation, or even better taking out a supporters subscription?
