Do you want to be part of Holbeck’s history? Do you want to help make Holbeck Cemetery a more beautiful place for future generations in Beeston and Holbeck? writes Eve Tidswell.
If your answer is ‘yes’ to either of these questions then come and join The Friends of Holbeck Cemetery, Holbeck in Bloom and Beeston in Bloom groups together with some help from officers from LCC who will be busy planting in the cemetery on Tuesday 27th November at 10am.
No special skills needed just happy folk who don’t mind getting ‘stuck in’. The trees (short hedge/small copse) were awarded to the cemetery by the Woodland Trust as part of their Jubilee Woods project.
